Also in this area is a pull down ladder for the mezzanine floor, which has more storage space. There is also a door to the shower room.
1.90m x 1.70m
There is a lovely shower room in this area, it is fitted with a blue ceramic floor, a large shower enclosure, a WC, heated towel rail, a washbasin and a velux window.
5.80m x 4.70m
Moving back out through the kitchen, you will find yourself in the large, bright, spacious reception room. It offers a lovely chestnut, wooden floor, 2 large radiators, a second door to the front, a window front and back and a chestnut, wooden staircase to the first floor. The real feature of this room is the log burner set in the beautiful stone fireplace.
3.50m x 3.30m
This part of the house was originally a second house, but the current owners have joined the two together to make one lovely property. The first room here is the dining room, it has solid oak flooring, a large radiator, a window to the side and a set of French double doors leading out to the south facing decking. It goes without saying this room really benefits from natural light.
2.90m x 1.90m
Just off from the dining room is the side entrance hall. It has a grey ceramic floor, a radiator and a stone staircase leading to the first floor.
7.90m x 2.20m
Both the chestnut and stone staircases lead to the first floor landing. It has solid oak flooring, a radiator, a couple of stone feature walls which really add a bit of character and doors to all rooms on this floor. You will also notice the chestnut staircase continues up to the second floor.
5.30m x 4.90m
Starting from left to right, the first room is the master bedroom. It has lots of natural light and plenty of storage with two large wardrobes. It offers chestnut flooring, two large windows with views of the lake, a radiator and a walkway to the bathroom.
4.20m x 2.80m
The large bathroom is just lovely. It has a ceramic floor, a corner spa bath, a wet room shower, WC, washbasin, heated towel rail and a third large window to the front with views of the lake. All the fittings in her are top of the range.
3.50m x 3.40m
The second double bedroom is just as nice, it also has a chestnut floor, a window to the front with views of the lake, a large radiator and has a real bright and airy feel to it.
1.90m x 1.10m
The second bedroom benefits from a shower room next door. Again it is a wet room with, ceramic tiles, WC, heated towel rail, washbasin and 2 windows to the front. The quality again speaks for itself.
5.90m x 4.40m
The chestnut staircase leads to the second floor. The first room is a large spacious rom with oak coloured flooring, 4 velux windows, 2 radiators and exposed beams. This is probably one of the lightest rooms in the house and the current owner uses it as a sewing room but this could easily be another bedroom.
4.40m x 3.80m
Finally the last room is a double bedroom. It offers light oak, wooden flooring, a velux window, a window to the side and a radiator.
Workshop & Garden
6.20m x 3.00m
To the back of the property is what was the garage but is now the workshop. It has a window to the side, a concrete floor and electricity supply. The boiler is also in this room with a door leading out to the oil tank. You will also find 2 small storage areas on the opposite side of the house.
The garden is a real feature to this property. There are numerous vegetable plots with raised beds, a potting shed, and a boules court at the end of the garden. The owners have worked really hard with some lovely intricate paths weaving all around the garden.
As well as all of this there are two decking areas, one is to the left and raised which benefits from the last bit of sun in the evening, the other is to the front and has some wonderful views of the lake and surrounding area. There is enough space to park 3 cars easily.
It's difficult to some up this property because it really needs to be seen in person. The interior decor is lovely and they have made some beautiful features throughout the house. It benefits from central heating and the log burner and all of the rooms just ooze natural light. The garden space is a really good size with some stunning views (believe me when I say my pictures don't do it justice!). The local bar is a two minute walk and the town is less than 10 minutes on foot. Please ask for more pictures as I have lots. Viewings are a must!
