This property is at the end of a very small hamlet. It has three external doors but the main one used, leads directly into the fitted kitchen. It has an oven, window to the front, storage space and a chimney with a log burner. The log burner does need a liner in the chimney. This room benefits from lots of natural light in the morning.
6.30m x 5.00m
The kitchen opens out into the large reception area. It has a wooden floor, two electric heaters, a window to the front, a wooden staircase to the first floor, access to the bathroom and bedroom and there are doors leading to the front and the rear gardens.
1.80m x 1.50m
The next room is the shower room. It has a shower, WC, washbasin, window to the rear and a ceramic floor.
4.70m x 3.50m
The last room on this floor is a large, double bedroom. It has a wooden floor, a double glazed window to the front and a stone fireplace. The fireplace has been boarded by the last tenant but would only take a few minutes to take it off and reveal the fireplace again.
3.60m x 3.10m
The wooden staircase leads up to the first floor landing. This area has a wooden floor, an electric heater, a velux window and leads to all rooms. All the rooms up here seem to benefit from natural light.
5.50m x 4.00m
To the right is the large, master bedroom. It has a wooden floor, an electric heater and two velux windows.
2.30m x 1.90m
The master bedroom has its own bathroom. It has a bath, separate shower cubicle, WC, washbasin and vanity unit, velux window and a ceramic floor.
2.30m x 2.50m
The other side of the landing are three further rooms. The first room from left to right is another bathroom. It has a shower, WC, washbasin, heated towel rail, velux window and a ceramic floor. The shower door has been broken the previous tenant, so it will need fixing or a new one put in. There is also room for a washing machine up here.
2.80m x 2.20m
The last two rooms are smaller bedrooms. The first has an oak floor, an electric heater, velux window and a built in wardrobe.
3.30m x 2.20m
The last bedroom is very similar and has an oak floor, electric heater, built in wardrobe and a velux window. The velux will need replacing as it has a very small leak.
Outbuildings and Garden
11.60m x 5.60m
To the rear of the property is the old original house. It is a beautiful stone building with two floors. It is down as a habitable building on the title deeds, so if someone wanted to change it into a cottage, then correct planning should not be an issue.
10.00m x 4.30m
To the left of this is another stone building which is just a storage barn with a metal roof. It also has an old chimney and fireplace.
8.00m x 4.60m
There is a third stone building to the front left of the house. It has a dirt floor, metal roof and is used as a garage.
The garden is a good size and has space to the front, but the main area is to the rear. There is a patio to the rear of the house and the rest of the garden is laid to lawn until you go passed the outbuildings. There are two plots here mainly a few trees and shrubs, I'm not sure if you would use it for much, but it is extra land with the property. It could be cleared to make more garden space.
This house is in a very peaceful location with some lovely views. It really is very tranquil here with just one near neighbour who is an old French chap who you wouldn't know is there. The owner is aware a few things need doing, hence the price and the external of the property isn't very pleasing on the eye, so a good paint job is needed. The local village is around 5 minutes by car and there is a choice of large towns within a 15 minute drive.
